The Friendly Farm

This five-acre farm in Dublin, NH lets kids walk right up to a hands-on collection of animals, from baby chicks and goats to pigs, turkeys, lambs and full-grown horses. Many animals were born on site and are used to being petted, hugged and hand-fed by visitors. Families can wander the grounds, bring a picnic, and let children of any age get close to the animals in a relaxed, open setting. Admission runs $14 for adults and $10 for kids ages one to twelve, and the farm also hosts school groups, birthday parties, and larger groups of 15 or more at a discounted rate of $7.50 per person. The farm operates seasonally, closing in September.
