The Children’s Museum of Cleveland

The Children's Museum of Cleveland runs across 7 exhibits built around learning through play, and it has an entry rule worth knowing before you go: adults must be accompanied by a child, and children under 18 must be accompanied by an adult. It's not a museum you can drop into solo, on either side of that rule. Adult and child admission are both $15; infants 11 months and younger get in free. Family Membership is $100 for one adult and one child, with additional family members added at $25 per person, and there's a matching Gift Membership at the same price if you're buying it for someone else. An ACM Reciprocal Membership at $175 includes free admission to this museum for up to four people plus half-off admission at other ACM reciprocal museums, worth looking into if you travel and visit children's museums elsewhere. The museum is open 9am to 1:30pm Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, with extended summer hours of 9am to 3pm from June 8 through August 5. It's closed Thursdays year-round, and the food policy is generous: outside food is allowed, and there's also food available on site.
