Temple Children’s Museum

Temple Children's Museum is a hands-on space in downtown Temple built around interactive play and creative exploration for young children. Throughout the year it runs themed programs such as Monster Makers, a Halloween STEAM activity for ages 3 to 6 with crafts and sensory play, and Mini Museum Marvels, a summer session for ages 3 to 5 featuring art, sensory activities and simple STEM challenges for around $50 per child. Special events like interactive wildlife shows also pop up, typically around $10 per child with required reservations. Families do not need reservations for regular visits but they are encouraged, especially since large groups, daycares and field trips must book ahead. The museum also hosts Saturday birthday parties with public options for 25 guests or private options for 30, letting families bring their own decorations and food, though glitter, silly string and piñatas are not allowed.
