About this place
Tampa Bay Grand Prix is an indoor electric go-kart track in Clearwater open to walk-in racers seven days a week. Kids who reach 48 inches tall can drive junior karts that top out around 25 mph, while racers 56 inches and up move up to adult karts capable of 50 mph on the same track. The facility hosts birthday parties and other celebrations with room rentals, and there is a lounge area with free Wi-Fi and flat-screen TVs for those waiting to race. Each race gives a printed score sheet with lap times so kids and adults can track their progress, and the indoor setup means racing continues rain or shine.
