About this place
Speedsportz Racing Park is an outdoor go-kart track just north of Houston in New Caney, where drivers race on a professionally designed high-speed course. Rental karts reach about 45 mph, and every driver watches a short safety video covering kart operation, flags, and the course before heading out. Racers must be at least 60 inches tall and 14 years old, and closed-toed shoes are recommended, with long hair required to be tied back and tucked in. Riders can bring their own DOT-approved, full-face helmet with a visor if preferred. Beyond casual racing, the park hosts group events, corporate team-building programs, and endurance races, and waivers can be downloaded ahead of time to speed up check-in.
