A museum made from relocated buildings showing life during Colorado's gold rush era. The site holds 44 structures moved from mining camps around South Park, assembled starting in 1957 to preserve what remained from the 1860s onwards. Families can walk through a reconstructed town with period buildings furnished with around 40,000 donated artifacts, learning how miners and the tradespeople who served them lived when gold and later silver and other minerals drew people to the area.
A membership to South Park City Museum carries reciprocal admission, so the same card is worth free or discounted entry at other places in this program.
Reciprocal programs are built for travel and most exclude places close to the one where you hold your membership, so this is worth the most when you are away from home. How reciprocal memberships work
