Smoky Mountain Deer Farm and Exotic Petting Zoo

This animal park in Sevierville sits on 140 acres of foothills and lets kids walk right into the pasture to hand-feed deer, reindeer, and Fallow and Sika deer. The barnyard area also includes camels, zebra, goats, Rocky Mountain Elk, emu, ostriches, Highland cattle, donkeys, zonkies, miniature horses, and Continental Giant rabbits for families to get close to and pet. Younger children can take an old-fashioned pony ride led by a parent, while riders age 5 and up can join guided trail rides at the on-site stables through wooded, mostly shaded terrain with mountain views. Horseback riding now requires advance reservations, since walk-in riders can no longer be accommodated, and large vehicles like buses or RVs should call ahead to confirm parking. The farm is located near Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg, making it an easy stop for families visiting the Smoky Mountains.
