Free or discounted entry for members of AHS Garden Network.
A 48-acre arboretum on the north edge of Hillsdale College's campus, preserving plant collections and native woodland. Families can walk the nature trails, explore a children's garden with a pond and herb plantings, see a waterfall and two ponds, and visit stone structures including gazebos and an amphitheatre. The grounds also include a potting shed and a visitor center. The site hosts seasonal events like a Fall Festival and Arbor Day celebration.
A membership to Slayton Arboretum – Hillsdale College carries reciprocal admission, so the same card is worth free or discounted entry at other places in this program.
Reciprocal programs are built for travel and most exclude places close to the one where you hold your membership, so this is worth the most when you are away from home. How reciprocal memberships work
