About this place
Skateworld is a roller skating rink in Tampa where kids and adults skate during scheduled public sessions, with a full arcade, a cafe serving snacks and drinks, and a live DJ setting the mood. Beginners can sign up for skate classes taught by instructors, and families can rent a Skate Mate for extra support while learning to skate. The rink hosts themed nights like Friday Night Glow Skate and Pizza Party Wednesday, plus special events such as Sip and Skate for adults and seasonal skates. It is also a popular spot for kids' birthday parties, with packages starting around $130 for 10 kids, along with school field trips and group events. Visitors should note that everyone must complete an online waiver before entering, bags are checked at the door, coin-operated lockers are available, and outside food and drinks (including birthday cakes for non-scheduled parties) are not allowed.
