About this placeSkate-O-Mania is a roller skating rink north of I-40 near Juan Tabo that has been rolling since 1980, when it opened as Roller King, and it keeps a nostalgic 80s and 90s vibe with disco lights and retro tunes. Kids and families can skate during scheduled public sessions, join Saturday skate camps or lessons for $8, and rent skates or roller blades for a few dollars if needed. The rink hosts birthday parties with several package options, school field trips, fundraisers, and STEM nights, plus theme nights like Tuesday's Christian Music Night ($10 admission, $3 skate rental) and Wednesday's Retro Night with a half-price session later in the evening ($5 admission, $3 skates). Outside food is allowed for a $50 fee during public sessions or $150 for private parties. Fans of Stranger Things and Outer Range may recognize the space, since Netflix left behind its full set after filming there in 2021.
