Salem Willows Arcade sits inside the oceanfront Salem Willows Park, offering two game rooms full of classic arcade games and prize redemption. Kids can also ride bumper cars or take swings in the wiffle ball batting cage right nearby. Food stands scattered through the park let families grab pizza, ice cream, popcorn, or fried clams between rounds of games. The surrounding 35-plus acre park adds picnic grounds, tennis and basketball courts, a pier for fishing, and a beach for swimming, though there are no lifeguards on duty. The arcade operates seasonally, generally from April through October, while the outdoor park area stays open year round, and leashed dogs are welcome both in the park and inside the arcade.
