Roseland Waterpark is a large outdoor water park in Canandaigua that spans 56 acres and bills itself as the biggest in the Finger Lakes region, with nine attractions to fill a summer day. The Giant Wave Pool has a beach-like entry and waves up to 5 feet, while the Adventure River offers a slower, 600-foot float past fountains and landscaping. Younger children under 48 inches tall have their own zone, the Splash Factory, with small waterslides, water cannons, a dumping bucket, a covered lounging area, and lifeguards on duty. Older kids and thrill-seekers can try slides like The Cliff, The Twister, The Screamer, and The Hurricane, or ride the Mammoth Rafts family raft ride built for up to four people. There is a gift shop for towels and beach gear on site, plus an adjacent 18-hole mini golf course and a wake park offering lessons for around $49.
