About this place
Prairie Lanes is a bowling alley in Yelm that families use for casual games and kid-friendly outings. Bumper lanes are set up specifically for young bowlers, keeping balls out of the gutter so little ones can still knock down pins and enjoy the game. On select nights the alley switches to Cosmic Bowling, dimming the lights and adding music and special effects for a nightclub-style atmosphere that older kids and teens tend to enjoy. The venue is open most afternoons and evenings, with weekend hours extending later, and it can accommodate large groups by appointment.
