A museum in Providence housing over 100,000 works of art and design spanning from ancient times to the present day. Visitors can see paintings, sculpture, decorative arts, textiles, and furniture from cultures around the world, with around 2,000 pieces currently on display. The museum runs art-making activities and workshops for families, and offers tours. The collection is also available online, with digital images of public domain works free to access.
A membership to Museum of Art, Rhode Island School of Design carries reciprocal admission, so the same card is worth free or discounted entry at other places in this program.
