Mel's Funway Park is a seasonal family entertainment center in Litchfield, NH, open April through October, weather permitting. Kids and parents can race go-karts on a fifth-mile track (drivers must be 58 inches tall, with shorter riders able to pair up with an adult), putt through two 18-hole mini golf courses with waterfalls and rock formations, and swing away in batting cages that include a Fenway Park Green Monster replica with speeds from 45 to 85 mph. Younger children ages 2 to 9 have their own space called Mini Mel's, with scaled-down versions of the go-karts and bumper boats, plus there are bumper boats, laser tag, an arcade, and bounce houses for the whole family. Mini golf runs $13 for adults and $10 for kids 4-12, with kids under 4 free with a paying adult, and batting cage tokens range from about $2.50 each up to $25 for 15. From September through November the park transforms into a Halloween haunted attraction, and a holiday light walkthrough runs after Thanksgiving into mid-January.
