About this place
Mars Lakeview Arena is a privately owned ice rink in Duluth that has hosted hockey and figure skating since 1999. Kids can join hockey programs or skating lessons on well-maintained ice with clear sightlines for watching from the stands. An event and training center added in 2011 offers off-ice training space and is also available to the public for parties, banquets, and meetings. Families who cannot attend in person can watch games and practices live or on demand through the arena's LiveBarn streaming service. The rink has operated independently for years, funding its own facility upgrades like a modern dehumidification system for cleaner air and better ice quality.
