Leavenworth Adventure Park is an outdoor amusement park in the Cascade foothills built around Washington's first alpine coaster, the Tumwater Twister, plus a climbing wall and a mining sluice where kids can pan for gems. The park is open year round with free parking and no general admission fee, so families pay only for the activities they choose. Two on-site food and drink spots let parents grab a bite or a local beer while kids take a break between rides. Younger visitors can also meet the park's mascot, Super Lou, and pose for photos with Icicle Ridge in the background during scheduled visit times.
