Discover North Carolina’s only museum dedicated to the study of global cultures. With artifacts from the Americas, Africa, Asia and Oceania, the Lam Museum of Anthropology’s intimate exhibits illustrate the story of humanity from ancient times to today. Exhibits include hands-on activities for children and adults. Current exhibits include the following: -How Do They Know? The Science of Archaeology in the Yadkin River Valley -Weaving Along the Silk Road: Amazing Asian Saddle Rugs -A Glimpse of Africa: Five Cultures from the Continent -Chinese Ceramics from the Changsha Kilns: Reflections of Tang Dynasty Openness and Tolerance -Life After Death: The Day of the Dead in Mexico through December 12, 2014
