Lake Tobias Wildlife Park is a 150-acre zoo and wildlife park in Central Pennsylvania where families can walk among habitats holding giraffes, tigers, zebras, baboons, ostriches, gibbons, kangaroos, lions, and more. A highlight for kids is the Safari Tour, riding converted bus cruisers across the property to hand-feed roaming bison, water buffalo, yak, eland, and watusi. Younger children can get hands-on at the Petting Zoo, the Animal Care and Rehab exhibit, and the Reptiles and Exotics building, which houses snakes, reptiles, exotic mammals, and tropical birds. In total the park is home to more than 1,000 animals representing six continents, making it a full day out for animal-loving families.
