About this place

A museum at the University of Michigan holding more than 100,000 artifacts from ancient Mediterranean, North African and Middle Eastern cultures. Around 1,500 pieces are on permanent display, with special exhibitions changing throughout the year. Families can visit the galleries during regular hours and find programs designed for visitors of all ages, from young children onwards. The current featured display explores connections between America's founding era and ancient Rome.
