About this place
The Greensboro Science Center is three attractions folded into one membership: an aquarium, a zoo, and a museum, all under general admission. The Rainforest Adventure maze is the standout for younger kids, a tropical-themed course where they climb and crawl rather than just look through glass. Older kids tend to gravitate to the OmniSphere Theater, which runs laser shows on top of its regular programming. General admission covers most of the site, and the center also runs seasonal events through the year, so it's a place that's worth a second visit rather than a one-and-done trip. If a laser show is on the agenda, budget an extra $7 for the Evening Laser Show ticket on top of general admission. The center is open every day, 9am to 5pm, seven days a week, which makes it an easy add to a weekend that already has other plans nearby.
