Gilbert House Children's Museum in Salem, OR is a nonprofit museum housed in five historic buildings featuring 20+ interactive exhibits focused on hands-on, play-based learning in science, art, and the humanities. Children can engage with creative play and STEM experiences indoors, then explore the 20,000-square-foot Outdoor Discovery Area year-round for climbing, building, and imaginative play. The museum, located in Salem's Riverfront Park and inspired by inventor A.C. Gilbert's legacy, also offers camps, field trips, and educational programs for families and school groups.
A membership to Gilbert House Children’s Museum carries reciprocal admission, so the same card is worth free or discounted entry at other places in this program.
Reciprocal programs are built for travel and most exclude places close to the one where you hold your membership, so this is worth the most when you are away from home. How reciprocal memberships work
