About this place
Funky Monkey Ranch is a private exotic animal experience located in Burleson, just south of Fort Worth, offering hands-on tours by appointment rather than a walk-in zoo setting. Families can get close to monkeys, lemurs, otters, foxes and other exotic animals while learning about their care, behavior and natural history from the owners. Many of the animals arrived through rescue or owner surrender, or came from licensed facilities as ambassador animals, and the ranch also hosts special events and birthday parties featuring animal visits. Visits require an appointment, and the experience is framed as an educational, conservation-minded alternative to a typical zoo trip.
