A 105-acre botanical garden on the shores of Trail Creek near Lake Michigan, with paved walking paths, three miles of trails, and a children's garden. Families can explore native plants from around the world, spot over 30 bird species, and use the fitness stations designed for different ability levels. The gardens offer benches and picnic areas for resting, and guided tours can be arranged with staff or board members, typically lasting an hour. Admission is discounted for groups with museum memberships.
A membership to Friendship Botanic Gardens carries reciprocal admission, so the same card is worth free or discounted entry at other places in this program.
Reciprocal programs are built for travel and most exclude places close to the one where you hold your membership, so this is worth the most when you are away from home. How reciprocal memberships work
