Free or discounted entry for members of AHS Garden Network.
A free public garden in Norfolk's Ghent Square, housed in a restored 1887 ferry terminal building. Families can walk the planted beds, join story time and craft sessions designed for young children, and explore the grounds from dawn to dusk year-round. The garden runs hands-on programs for all ages at no cost or low cost, including children's events that combine storytelling with activities like painting rocks or decorating treasure boxes in the garden. Adults can take classes and workshops on gardening, or volunteer on Saturday mornings to help maintain the vegetable and display gardens.
A membership to Fred Heutte Garden carries reciprocal admission, so the same card is worth free or discounted entry at other places in this program.
Reciprocal programs are built for travel and most exclude places close to the one where you hold your membership, so this is worth the most when you are away from home. How reciprocal memberships work
