The Exploratorium is a public learning laboratory located at Pier 15 in San Francisco where families can explore the world through science, art, and human perception across hundreds of exhibits in six spacious indoor and outdoor galleries. Visitors experience direct learning through interactive exhibits designed to engage curiosity and different ways of knowing, including hands-on discovery, art, dialogue, and making. The museum features rotating exhibits, such as explorations of life in space and extreme environments beyond Earth.
A membership to Exploratorium carries reciprocal admission, so the same card is worth free or discounted entry at other places in this program.
Reciprocal programs are built for travel and most exclude places close to the one where you hold your membership, so this is worth the most when you are away from home. How reciprocal memberships work
