Discovery Center Museum is a hands-on children's science museum in Rockford, Illinois, featuring more than 300 interactive exhibits focused on STEM topics including electricity, the human body, space exploration, simple machines, agriculture, and color and light. Families can explore the museum's exhibits and visit the adjacent Rock River Discovery Park, a 10,000-square-foot outdoor science park with a dinosaur dig pit, outdoor maze, and Secret Garden. The museum also hosts traveling exhibits, special events, and year-round programs, and recently opened GROW!, a 3,000-square-foot nature-inspired exhibit designed for children and families to climb, build, and explore together.
