Dinosaur State Park in Rocky Hill, CT preserves one of North America's largest sites of early Jurassic dinosaur footprints alongside nature trails and an arboretum. Families can tour the Exhibit Center's paleontological museum, try the outdoor mining sluice for gems and fossils, and join guided school-group programs on fossils and geologic history. The grounds also offer picnic areas and walking trails for a full day outdoors.
