About this place
COGNiTiON is a hands-on science and discovery museum in Beulah with 15 exhibits for kids to explore, plus live animals such as snakes that get fed and handled for visitors to see. Admission is $11 for ages 5 and up and covers the whole day, so families can leave and come back, and most visits last about 2 to 3 hours. A Planetarium offers in-the-round star and space shows for up to 25 guests, available the third weekend of each month, and the Earth and Space Lab has chaperoned virtual reality experiences like simulated driving and flight, included with admission. Outside, the Sound Garden houses a Tornado experience that simulates 78 mph winds, designed with sensory-sensitive visitors in mind. The center is not a childcare facility, so adults must accompany children, and it is closed Mondays and Tuesdays except for scheduled field trips.
