About this place
C Horse Ranch is a working horse ranch in Winnemucca that offers hands-on horsemanship lessons for riders of any experience level, from complete beginners to more advanced students. Lessons cover the basics of caring for a horse, including grooming, safety, feeding and nutrition, tacking up, and general medical care, along with riding instruction at beginner, novice, and intermediate levels. The property includes a 60-foot round pen, a practice arena, a tack room, a large turnout area, a covered shelter, and trails leading out from the property. The owner, Eileen Bailey, is certified in Equine Assisted Psychotherapy and Equine Assisted Learning, so the ranch also incorporates horse-based activities aimed at emotional and mental well-being alongside standard riding instruction.
