About this place
Buckeye Raceway is an indoor entertainment center in Columbus built around high-speed electric go-kart racing on a quarter-mile track, with adult karts reaching up to 45 mph and junior karts capped at a safer 25 mph for younger racers. Kids need a parent or guardian to sign a waiver before driving, and the venue provides helmets and head socks, so no special gear is required to show up and race. Beyond karting, families can try axe throwing, foosball, footbowling, arcade games, and SIM racing, with discounts for bundling activities together. The facility also hosts parties and events for groups as large as 100 people. It is open Tuesday through Sunday, closed Mondays, with hours varying by day.
