About this place
Breckenridge Family Aquatic Center is an outdoor pool open through the summer months (June through August) with a 28-foot tower water slide, smaller slides, a water basketball area, and a splash pool with fountains and water jets for younger kids. The zero-depth entry makes it accessible for wheelchairs and easier for little ones to wade in gradually, and a concession stand is on site for snacks. Outside the fenced pool area there are sand volleyball courts and a playground, plus green space for sunbathing or relaxing while kids swim. The facility offers swim lessons and can be rented for birthday parties, family reunions, or group picnics, with lifeguards included during rentals. Children under 10 must be accompanied by someone age 16 or older, and swim passes can be bought at City Hall or at the center once the season opens.
