About this placeThe Bandera Natural History and Art Museum combines dinosaur exhibits with cultural art collections in the Texas Hill Country. Kids can walk the outdoor DinoWalk trail past life-size dinosaur models and Ice Age animal figures, then head inside to see a triceratops skeleton and dioramas recreating habitats like the African Savannah and Arctic Tundra. The art side of the museum features colonial-era artifacts from New Spain, Latin American masks, and a large carved jade tiger, giving older children a look at different cultures alongside the natural history exhibits. Admission is $9 for youth ages 4 to 12, free for kids 3 and under, and group rates are available for parties of 10 or more with advance booking.
A membership to Bandera Natural History and Art Museum carries reciprocal admission, so the same card is worth free or discounted entry at other places in this program.
Reciprocal programs are built for travel and most exclude places close to the one where you hold your membership, so this is worth the most when you are away from home. How reciprocal memberships work
