Arcade 2084 is a retro-themed arcade in downtown Hillsboro built around an authentic 1980s look, with classic arcade cabinets, real CRT screens, coin-operated games and a cosmic pool table set against neon lighting and period furnishings. A DJ plays 80s pop, new wave, rock and other era music to set the mood, and the space includes a full bar called The Bar That Time Forgot along with Italian pizza and handcrafted nitro root beer for non-alcoholic drinkers. The atmosphere leans toward a nightclub-style lounge feel rather than a typical family arcade, so it may suit older kids or teens better than young children. Tokens are purchased with cash at a mechanical coin changer that accepts bills. Note that the venue's website states this concept runs only through June 2025.
