Aquaboggan is an outdoor water and amusement park in Saco, Maine, just off Route 1 near Old Orchard Beach, that has been running for over 45 summers. Kids can ride waterslides like the Turbo Drop and tube runs, splash in a 750,000-gallon wave pool, bump around in the Bumpin' Boats, and race on the Grand Prix go-carts, with height minimums ranging from about 48 to 54 inches for the bigger rides. Younger children have their own area with toddler-size swings, a climbing gym, small slides, and a shallow splash pool for kids under 38 inches. There is also an 18-hole mini golf course, plus free parking, picnic areas, and lounge chairs for families spending the whole day. Admission is tiered by height and age, including separate rates for guests under and over 4 feet tall, toddlers, and visitors 60 and older, with combo passes that add go-kart or bumper boat rides.
