Free or discounted entry for members of AHS Garden Network.
A 30-acre botanical garden in Hoover with a six-acre lake and walking trail. Families can explore plantings of hydrangeas, camellias, and native Alabama plants, follow the nature paths, and visit an art gallery that rotates exhibitions. The gardens also feature a bonsai terrace, an apiary, a veterans memorial, and a storybook walk with 18 panels that changes quarterly. Admission is free, and dogs on leads are permitted on certain days.
A membership to Aldridge Gardens carries reciprocal admission, so the same card is worth free or discounted entry at other places in this program.
Reciprocal programs are built for travel and most exclude places close to the one where you hold your membership, so this is worth the most when you are away from home. How reciprocal memberships work
