About this place
The Akron Art Museum houses a collection of more than 6,000 works of modern and contemporary art, spanning pieces created from 1850 to the present day. Families can walk through galleries featuring regional, national, and international artists, including work that challenges traditional artistic mediums. The museum frames itself as a place to learn, play, and grow while engaging with art, making it a spot where children can be introduced to different styles and ideas in a gallery setting. It also runs special exhibitions throughout the year alongside its permanent collection, giving repeat visitors something new to see.
If you are a member here
A membership to Akron Art Museum carries reciprocal admission, so the same card is worth free or discounted entry at other places in this program.

Reciprocal programs are built for travel and most exclude places close to the one where you hold your membership, so this is worth the most when you are away from home. How reciprocal memberships work
