About this place
Adventure Time Ballooning offers hot air balloon flights over Northeast Tennessee, serving the Kingsport, Johnson City, Bristol, Abingdon, Pigeon Forge, and Gatlinburg areas. Flights are piloted by FAA-licensed commercial balloon pilots with more than 20 years of experience, and each balloon carries between two and four passengers depending on the day's group size. The full outing, from balloon inflation to a post-flight ceremony, takes about three hours, with the actual flight lasting roughly an hour and reaching average altitudes near 2,500 feet. Because of safety and weight requirements, children under six are not permitted to fly, and passengers who are pregnant or dealing with certain injuries cannot be accommodated. Rides depend on calm early morning or evening wind conditions, so scheduling can shift with the weather.
