Active Climbing

Active Climbing is an 18,000 square foot indoor climbing gym in Grovetown with bouldering walls, a 30-foot top-rope and lead climbing wall called The Ship, and over 100 routes for different skill levels. Kids can also try the ninja room, which has obstacles like a salmon ladder, spider climb, warped wall, and cliff hanger. There is a dedicated party room set up as its own mini climbing gym with roped walls, a bouldering cave, a slide, and a swing nook, making it a good spot for younger or first-time climbers. Climbing shoes can be rented on site, and staff note that climbers as young as 14 months have used the walls, with suitability depending on the child's ability and comfort rather than a strict age cutoff. Everyone entering the gym, including non-climbing family members, needs a waiver on file, which can be completed online ahead of a visit.
